Graceful in appearance, Silken Windhounds have sighthound type.

Athletic

Our Silkens participate in racing and coursing. It is breathtaking watching them fly doing what they love to do, RUN! I've had a few that weren't interested, but those that do, they LOVE IT!

Sylvi

Our involvement began in 2007 when I purchased my first Silken "Sylvi" from Gryffyn's Aeyrie. I was encouraged to try showing her. Even though showing was not what she really wanted to do, she earned being the first UKC Grand Champion in the breed when the United Kennel Club accepted us in March 2011. She also whelped my first litter in 2012. Here she is pictured at 11 years of age.

Enzo

My second Silken also came to me from Gryffyn's Aeyrie. He was my hopes for a performance dog, which he was happy to do! He ran at the first ASFA International Invitational since we were allowed in the Limited Stake in 2012. He has sired a litter here and 2 others elsewhere. He achieved his field championship upon breed full recognition in ASFA (American Sighthound Field Association).

Hunter

My 3rd Silken from Gryffyn's Aeyrie, Hunter, quickly became my show, racing and coursing loving dog. He has sired one litter for me and couldn't be happier with the pups he produced! He was my first dog to become an ISWS Champion.

He is also titled in coursing, oval and straight racing.

Raven

Empyrean Harvest Moon-Raven, is my first homebred Champion. Earning her UKC GRCH and ISWS Ch in conformation and her racing GRC.

She also won UKC Best In Show in Houghton, Louisiana in 2018. Raven is the embodiment of breed type and temperament. She loves to be the center of attention!

Zedd

Empyrean Harvest Zinfindel carries on the traditions of Raven and Hunter. A beautiful show dog and a fast racer, he has already achieved his UKC Grand Championship, ISWS Championship and SGRC2 in LGRA racing.

Riley is from Raven's second litter. She already has her first conformation major and has achieved her LGRA racing championship and is ASFA coursing pointed.

Tory came to us from Jan and Trisha from Entourage Slikens. She has produced a litter and will soon be hitting the show ring! She is a fun and loving addition to our kennel.

Gryffyn's Aeyrie Endless Blue

DJ came to us from Entourage as a puppy back to a breeding to our Zedd. He is lovely and has substance and will be beginning his show career in the near future. DJ is a tri color with deep pure blacks.

Blue is an addition I wanted to incorporate into my breeding program. He has the sweetest temperament and happy-go-lucky attitude and carries a bigger coat I'd like to include from him.
